Most calls sort into three situations. If you burn wood through a winter at this elevation and it has been a year or more, you want a sweep - which includes a Level 1 inspection anyway, so you learn the condition of the flue as part of the same visit instead of paying for it twice.
If your insurer has sent you a wildfire risk score, or your cap is missing, rusted or a universal squeezed onto the wrong flue, you want caps and spark arrestors. That is the summer job, and since 1 July 2026 it is also the one Colorado carriers are obliged to take account of - provided somebody wrote down that it was done.
And if the stove is eating wood, glazing its glass within a week, or will not draw the way it used to, that is stove and insert service. Worth knowing: draft complaints are usually not the appliance, and we measure before anyone proposes buying a part.
